Daily Wear Contact Lenses (Dailies)

If you regularly wear contact lenses, chances are you wear dailies. Comfortable and practical these lenses do, however, require a daily cleaning routine.

These lenses are worn only while awake, usually up to a maximum of 10 hours. The lenses must be removed, cleaned and disinfected daily. Several replacement schedules are available: monthly, weekly, bi-monthly and daily disposable lenses.

Extended Wear Contact Lenses

Extended wear contact lenses are highly oxygenated and can be worn day and night for up to 7 consecutive days (6 nights). Unless recommended by an optometrist, these should not be worn for longer periods. These lenses require a strict cleaning schedule to avoid risks of infections and complications.
